A unique building with an unusual function, this new free-standing steel-framed structure houses the Zoo’s Ring Tailed Lemur Breeding facility. It is located in the
very centre of the Western Plains Zoo and constructed for the Taronga Conservation Society Australia. With numerous wild animals contained within the immediate surrounds of the construction site, the client required a high level of security and management controls to be exercised in order to minimise any potential conflict with Zoo’s activities.
